In the just-concluded CASP15, prediction of protein intrinsic disorder regions, Yaoqi Zhou's group's old method SPOT-Disorder2 four years ago is still far ahead, far exceeding the estimation based on the structural prediction of AlphaFold2. This is an unexpected result and demonstrates the importance of preventing overtraining.
