On March 27th, Dr. Yaoqi Zhou gave a science lecture in English at a renowned high school in Shenzhen, Shenzhen College of International Education, on the latest developments in protein research. The topic was: "Unravel the mysteries of Drug Discovery through AI-Driven Protein Structure Prediction." Proteins play a crucial role in all aspects of life processes. In fact, there are more than 10,000 documented functions of proteins, and almost all diseases are caused by the function or dysfunction of certain proteins. Targeting pathogenic proteins has been proven to be a successful strategy for drug development.
