Warm congratulations! The novel DNA fluorescent dye Benthio Green, independently developed by Dr. Yaoqi Zhou's team, has received its first commercial order!
Posted onOct 23,2024

On October 23rd, the new DNA fluorescent dye Benthio Green, developed by Professor Yaoqi Zhou's team at Shenzhen Bay Laboratory, has successfully received its first commercial order. This achievement marks a significant step in the commercialization process of the dye, not only affirming the scientific research capabilities of Professor Yaoqi Zhou and his team but also recognizing the market potential of Benthio Green.

Benthio Green fluorescent dye brings revolutionary improvements to the field of fluorescence imaging with its significant large Stokes shift (approximately 137 nm) and low toxicity characteristics. Compared to the traditional nucleic acid dye Hoechst 33342, Benthio Green's staining ability has increased by 50%, and the detection limit is as low as 1 ng, giving it a significant advantage in high-resolution fluorescence imaging. Moreover, Benthio Green has shown non-mutagenicity in the L5178Y TK gene mutation test, further proving its low genotoxicity.

The product was officially launched on August 21, 2024, on the J&K Scientific, available in four specifications: 5mg, 25mg, 100mg, and 500mg, all of which are currently in stock.
